Biazon hails Muntinlupa police for successful anti-drugs operations

Muntinlupa City Mayor Ruffy Biazon shared that the city police confiscated suspected shabu worth more than ₱165,000 and arrested several drug suspects during a string of drug operations on August 19 to 25.

The mayor cited the accomplishment of the local police force as part of the city government’s continuing efforts to strengthen peace and order.

“Nito lang August 19-25, may kabuuang 24.3 grams ng suspected shabu, na may estimated Standard Drug Price na ₱165,240, ang nasamsam at ilang suspek ang naaresto ng mga kapulisan natin,” Biazon said.

He also reiterated his directive to the Philippine National Police (PNP)-Muntinlupa to intensify law enforcement efforts, particularly through sustained anti-criminality operations and intelligence-based strategies in local communities.

“Ang bilin ko nga sa PNP, higpitan ang pagpapatupad ng peace and order sa Muntinlupa. Mas maging consistent sa anti-criminality operations at intelligence-driven enforcement sa mga barangay,” he said.

“Kasama dito ang pagtutok sa problema ng droga. Bawat supply ng illegal drugs na nasasabat, mas napoprotektahan din ang mga pamilya at kabataang Muntinlupeño laban sa addiction, violence, at iba pang related crimes,” the mayor added.
