Makati Mayor Nancy Binay gave new graduates of the University of Makati a helping hand by providing them with a P5,000 cash incentive.
Binay said this is meant to help the new graduates prepare for their job hunting.
It is intended to ease their preparation for the new chapter of their lives, which will require them to spend for documents, clearances, professional examinations, transportation, and other requirements.
Joining Binay in the distribution of the cash assistance were Councilors Mayeth Casal-Uy, Maribel Vitales, Arlene Ortega, Bernadette Sese, Kristina Sarosa, Ferdie Eusebio, Dino Imperial, and Tristan Pangilinan.
The city government said this is also part of its support for UMak graduates in recognition of their hard work.
