Isko Ecstatic Over Free Angioplasty Procedure at City’s Cath Lab

Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso announced the successful completion of the third angioplasty procedure at the Ospital ng Maynila Medical Center. The life-saving procedure was performed on a 67-year-old Manila resident entirely free of charge.

The local chief executive expressed immense joy over the development, giving full credit to the hospital’s dedicated staff and the city’s new facilities. “Awa ng Diyos, nagagamit na ngayon ng taumbayan ang Cath Lab na marami na ring buhay ang nadugtungan (By God’s grace, the public is now using the Cath Lab which has prolonged many lives),” Mayor Domagoso stated.

Domagoso likewise thanked the citizens of the capital city, highlighting that local revenue directly funds these vital healthcare operations. He emphasized that the taxes paid by Manileños are successfully being transformed into medical solutions that offer hope and save lives.

The local government maintains that every successful medical operation provides an invaluable lifeline to struggling urban families. Celebrating the medical team’s skill, the mayor added that “sa bawat buhay na ating naitatawid, may isang pamilyang nabibigyan ng panibagong pag-asa (for every life we help cross over, a family is given renewed hope).”
