Vice Mayor Sotto Inspires Youth to Lead Life With Faith, Resilience

Quezon City Vice Mayor Gian Sotto took to Facebook and encouraged men in today’s world to lead life with faith and resilience. Sotto shared the gist of his speech at the recent MAN UP 2026 conference of a religious group RMCI where he

highlighted that navigating modern manhood is an everyday battle, but one that can be successfully overcome through spiritual grounding.

Sotto emphasized that sharing his personal life testimony at such gatherings remains a core part of his lifelong mission to uplift and guide the community. He added navigating daily trials serves as an opportunity to build a stronger character and remain anchored to one’s principles. He urged local men to stay consistent in their actions, remain standing during difficult times, and actively protect moral values within their families and society.

“Every day is a battle. Every day we may struggle — pero para sa akin, maganda na merong struggle (Every day is a battle. Every day we may struggle — but for me, it’s good that there is a struggle),” Sotto shared, reminding his audience that facing obstacles head-on serves a greater purpose. “We just need to be consistent, still standing, and fighting for what’s right.”

The vice mayor also challenged the “young kings” in the community to step into their moment by being watchful, standing firm in faith, and finding strength in unity.
